Join us on Monday, December 7, 2015, for a Day of Infamy in which we take unilateral action against every pint of beer we order. When I say “We”, I refer to Knock It Back Baltimore Presents Rod Smith in residence at Brewer’s Art, from 4:00 p.m. onward, and by “onward”, I mean respectable things, and by “respectable things”, I mean getting tight but not blind, okay? Our motto has been and will always be: Don’t Botch Da Debauch. We hope you’ll help us live according to our own standards, so join us on Monday for all festivities and parlay-voo. -----Yr friends at K.I.B.B.

To be swilled aplenty in 2013
It gives me great pleasure to announce the return of KNOCKINGBACKERY in 2013, every Tuesday, from 4:00 p.m. to ____?____, at various destinations around Charm City, aka Joe2, Dionysus, et cetera. The first KNOCK is scheduled for Tuesday, January 22, after which, you will know how and why to KNOCK IT BACK with regularity. The answer to the 'knock knock' joke is, by the way: two pints, har har, KNOCK KNOCK. As always, check yr pretense at the door as in check yr past tense at the door as this is one futuristic gathering. The future of the written word and the painted canvas and the scored music may very well be at stake so plan to meet us for this bit of philanthropy, which is, of course our code for STOUT and other fine lagers, ales, porters, et al. We hope that you will have a fine holiday season and we look forwaring to KNOCKING with you in 2013.

Gunter glieben glauben . . . KNOCKIN'.
It has been forever -- Ages! -- since we have Knocked It Back, Baltimore, and we must put an end to that. Whichever Knock you worship, whichever Knock is your Knock of Ages -- we will welcome you all the same -- provided you go light on the Def, or any other types of Leppards. Toward that end, please note new day (Thursday) and locale (Dionysus) and join us this Thursday, October 20th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (+etc.) @ Dionysus, *downstairs*, 8 East Preston Street, Baltymo, Md. To knock back one brew is Sensuous; to knock back two, and every time thereafter, is Sensual. Remember that. And remember that We Take Pride in Our Debauch. Hope to see you for all festivities and all parlay voo. ----Yr friends at KIBB.

*Please note: Beer + Vision could = Illusion
Don't be one who always wanted to Knock, never Knocked, then later yearned for Knockings. Our Knock is your discrete Knock is yore Knock is our indiscretion. You can drink a drink / and skip a drink / and if you skip a drink / then drink a beer. That's our song, that's how we Knock It Back, and we invite you to join us this Wednesday, June 29th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (+etc.) @ Brewer's Art, *downstairs*, 1106 N. Charles Street, Baltymo, Md. To reach the end of one pint is to reach the bottom; to reach the end of two or more pints is said to be Bottom Knocking. Who knows the truth of that, but one thing's sure, We Take Pride in Our Debauch. Hope to see you for all festivities and all parlay voo. ----Yr friends at KIBB.

All arrows point toward ... Spots.
All this talk about "Hitting the Spot" when there can be many spots -- the Brisket Spot, Poems about Field Marshal Rommel Spot, spots on your dog Spot spot, Buckwheat (Actor) Spot, Buckwheat (Grain) Spot, Shot Put Spot, and Gee Whiz Spot -- not to mention the counterpart saying, "Hits the Blight." With so many spots and blights to hit, we recommend drinking beer in sufficient quantities, just to be sure. Join us this Wednesday, June 22nd, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (+etc.) @ Brewer's Art, *downstairs*, 1106 N. Charles Street, Baltymo, Md. We will drink to all your spots and blights, and maybe discover a few spots and blights that have yet to be Knocked, hoy hoy. The Knock is Baltimore's gathering for creative types and their Knockerbackers -- "We Take Pride in Our Debauch." Hope to see you there for all festivities and parlay voo.

Those Who Are About to KNOCK Salute You!
My fellow Knockers -- let beer be finale of thirst. That's what we in the biz call a loose translation, and what better translation could there be? Join me, my fellow co-hosts, and special guest, California writer extraordinaire, Mark Wallace, this Wednesday, May 25th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (+ etc.) @ Brewer's Art, *downstairs*, 1106 N. Charles St., in Baltymo, as we quench -- loosely speaking -- in translation. The Knock is Baltimore's gathering for creative types and their Knockerbackers -- "We Take Pride in Our Debauch!" Hope to see you there for the good ol' parlay voo. Yrs, DG

Stow away on the beer sailboat!
Funny how syllables become swillables once the ABV climbs. Or is that vice versa? Either way, join us this Wednesday, May 4th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (+ etc.) @ Brewer's Art, *downstairs*, 1106 N. Charles St., in Baltymo, as we enunciate ("I'll take a beer") and prononciate ("Lemme have another") in search of the elusive bridge between beer and expression. The Knock is Baltimore's gathering for creative types and their KnockerBackers -- "We Take Pride in Our Debauch." Hope to see you there for all parlay voo and allied festivities.
